  It was a great apartment, about 2 mins from the metro station, not even a 10minute walk to Park Guell and if you want to walk to the city, it took us about 20mins...so very close. The man who checked us in was very nice and also gave us loads of information about what to do and see in Barcelona and also the surroundings.   The place was more like borrowing a friend's apartment than staying in a hostel. It was very conveniently located, being close enough to the main tourist area that you could easily walk there but far enough away to not cost the earth. The owner Silvia was lovely and very helpful and welco - Great location in Gracia, a bit away from the very touristy areas (like La Rambla), but well-connected with metro and buses. Clean throughout and a lovely terrace, and as we visited in the off-season it felt like we had a whole apartment to ourselves, as it was very quiet.
