  We enjoyed our stay at Hostal San Vicente so much that we stayed extra days in Sevilla! The friendly young couple that runs the hostal were accomodating and helpful. They were always eager to assist us in any way they could. We were at first in a room with three beds and when another double with a large balcony opened, they moved us there. The roo... was die leute sagen » ms were spotlessly clean.The hostal is located about 20 minutes from the old city by foot, and there is a metro station practically outside the door, - Yamila and Pedro were very friendly, helpful, and recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner and places to see, plus how to get there. The courtyard was lovely with colorful pots of flowers and cacti. The room was simple, very clean, and just a little crowded for three adults. The bathroom was clean, efficient, with a nice compact shower - no water spilling onto the floor as happened in other hotels. My husband left his iPod charger, and Pedro said he'd look into the cost of mailing it back

I arrived very early and could check in at 6 am!

Great location in the border of the Old City quarter, less than 10 minutes from Catedral and 15 from the Alameda (good place for going out at night). Even though they hardly spoke any English, they really tried to connect with me and my friend in English and even bought us breakfast (churros!) on our last day!!   Staff in the reception was very friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was really nice and staff allways provided us with a bottle of water before leaving the hotel. The location of the hotel is great, just 5 minutes walk from the Cathedral and Alcazar. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge. It is strongly recommended. - All in all a fine hotel but nothing extraordinary except very helpful staff. Location was good but very hard to find. Thanks to the review of a previous guest we mentioned the name Plaza Santa Cruz to the taxi driver which we took after we parked our car at a far away and very expensive public parking. Breakfast was so so, not even eggs or fresh juıce.

A woman at the front desk was very helpful and voluntarily gave us a lot of information about the history of the city, what to do and what to see. She was great. The location was good, too. It's within walking distance to both Alcazar and Seville Cathedral.
