Extrem freundliches und hilfreiches Personal. Das Hotel ist eigentlich eine Mehrzimmerwohnung im 3. Stockwerk und hat eine nette familiäre Atmosphäre. Die Betten sind zwar nur 1,90 m lang, aber die Matratzen sind okay. Und die zentrale Lage (direkt bei U-Bahn-Station Opera) ist einfach super! -

Very different to commercial establishments in as much as it is a
converted apartment and was very interesting for us, a mature couple. We
were placed in a huge room at no extra cost. Very clean. Quite an
experience for us even !though we know Madrid well. -
The biggest bonus of this little family-run place is its unrivalled location facing the Royal palace. Staff are very responsive and punctual and the place has the charm of a 18th century building.

Location was great - in the historic city centre, you can enjoy a walk to many places of interest. Opera metro station is just 1 minute from hostel. 24 hours supermarket is almost next door. I liked everything about this hostel. It is on the 5th floor but
don't worry because they do have an elevator. The place was recently
renovated so everything is new, modern, and beautifully decorated
w/TV and nice quiet a/C. Even though it is on a very busy main
street, my room #12 was quiet because it faced into a courtyard. Wi-Fi
was free and worked great. The location could not be better. I could
walk to Sol, Plaza Mayor, the Royal Palace and gardens, Plaza Espagna,
and the Opera house. The

Das Hostal liegt mitten in der Altstadt in einem sehr lebendigen Viertel. Obwohl ich nach meiner Ankunft mit dem Nachtzug vor der üblichen Eincheckzeit angekommen bin habe ich schon ein Zimmer bekommen. - Die Mitarbeiter waren superfreundlich, einige konnten auch deutsch. Hilfsbereitschaft steht bei Ihnen ganz oben.
