We were happy that it was a single full size bed w/great AC (this is a great thing if you compare it to other hotels in Madrid & Barcelona). Also, the staff was very helpful. It is important to note that taxis/cars are unable to go right next to the hotel/apartments since it is a pedestrian zone. So taxis can take you up to Plaza Santa Cruz and hotel/apartments are only a few minutes away.

One simple example is we were given a printed list of restaurants that the staff really like - and these were not the typical hotel list where they earn commission.
