  I stayed at the hotel for a conference in Barcelona, and I was very happy with my stay. The room wasn't huge, but it had a king-size bed. Everything was kept immaculately clean. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Very nice small hotel almost in the centre of Barcelona, within one metro stop from the Sants railway station. White foyer, bright- green corridor, cosy rooms - each about one of the Barcelona places of interest. Ours was called 'Parc Guel'. The window looks out on the quiet yard.   This hostal is a converted apartment covering the first floor of the building.It has managed to retain many of the original features and character. The rooms at the front have balconies looking out onto the Ramblas Cataluyna. It is within walking distance of La Rambla and very close to the metro and buses to all the other attractions. The manager was very welcoming and helpful. - The location is ideal for exploring the city on foot.It is next to The Passeig De Gracia and very close to Las Ramblas.Extremely friendly staff that helped us orginize our trip.Our room (Nr 8) was spacious,clean,comfortable and very quiet.There are many options around the hostal for eating,shopping and many more.There was hot water and very strong wifi signal all the time.It was generally very well organized with door codes and everything needed provided before we had even arrived!

  The place was more like borrowing a friend's apartment than staying in a hostel. It was very conveniently located, being close enough to the main tourist area that you could easily walk there but far enough away to not cost the earth. Very close to Fontana metro station giving easy access to all areas of the city, with bars, restaurants to suit al... was die leute sagen » l budgets and supermarkets right on the doorstep. It was also very close to Gaudi's Park Güell. The owner Silvia was lovely and very helpful and welco - Great location in Gracia, a bit away from the very touristy areas (like La Rambla), but well-connected with metro and buses. Clean throughout and a lovely terrace, and as we visited in the off-season it felt like we had a whole apartment to ourselves, as it was very quiet.
