  The hotel was w/in walking distance of all of the major sites. Also, it was a very quaint hotel room. We were happy that it was a single full size bed w/great AC (this is a great thing if you compare it to other hotels in Madrid & Barcelona). Also, the staff was very helpful. It is important to note that taxis/cars are unable to go right next to the hotel/apartments since it is a pedestrian zone. So taxis can take you up to Plaza Santa Cruz and hotel/apartments are only a few minutes away.

It's great value for money, very clean and has everything you need. If you're a light sleeper I wouldn't recommend it though as it overlooks a lively street. It didn't bother me as I'm used to sleeping in the city centre but my boyfriend didn't have a great sleep any night.
