With the exception of 1 member of staff we were very impressed with the way in which staff had been trained and the way in which they attended to every need of their guests.   The place was amazing, all the small things that make a place not just good, but great were there. The breakfast was lovely, the staff really helpful, they treated you like a friend rather than a guest, and the setting and gardens to die for. I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade and I booked just the night before.   Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were very comfortable and I loved the view from the verandah. There was a huge amount and variety of spaces to relax in to suit the weather conditions.   Basic but clean accommodation. Good hot showers in all rooms. Good but not exotic food. Lovely surroundings. Exceptionally friendly staff and owner in attendance. Informal atmosphere.
