  Manaar House is definitely one of the best places to stay in Durban/Umhlanga. We stayed there for three nights in the self Catering Apartment. The a/c duplex unit was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and well maintained. But the best thing to report was the warm, generous and very welcomi - As a couple with young kids, it was an absolute dream staying at Manaar House as it was so kid friendly that our kids did not want to go out because of the toys provided in our section of the house! They had so much fun & were so comfortable and as parents, that mattered most to us. The views from the kids rooms were phenomenal & they absolutely loved it!   Perfect styling of rooms, and enviroment. Breakfast in very nice atmosphere. Owners were very friendly and gave us a lot of recommondations for the day. Nice courtyard with well equiped Barbecue corner. But we did not ask for. - The owners were very friendly and helpful in telling us about things to see in the area - room was small very clean furnished beautifully and in line with being in the heart of Zulu land. We really enjoyed it totally relaxing lovely pools and braai areas in the courtyard. The breakfast provided was also very nice and set you up for the day I would certainly recomend to friends.

  We enjoyed our stay immensly. The view is breath taking, the resort caters for all your needs and there is really no need to venture out except if you want too. There is a myriad of activities, catering for all preferences. The staff is helpful and friendly, the catering and variety of options excellent. The breakfast was devine. The staff were excellent- very friendly. The resort facilities are very unique especially the hydro pool which we seen but did not have time to use because of our short stay. But the facilities and the welcome was excellent.

Very business friendly when I needed to attend to some emails, they had the facality for me to do so at no extra cost. I felt home. Booking in and out was very quick with no hassels.   Claire was a champion , helpful, attentive and informative. Friendly Staff Wonderful view, Wonderful facilities close proximity to Hillcrest & Kloof All good - Staff, particularly Claire, were very welcoming and made our stay a pleasure. Room was amazingly well-fitted and decor was lovely.
