  There have been many renovations since last staying there - including maintenance of the bathrooms and freshly painted and decorated walls. The rooms are always extremely clean and the staff superb. Along with that, the Manhattan Hotel has the best buffet breakfast of any of the Pretoria hotels I have stayed in (with exception to the Sheraton- ... was die leute sagen » but that comes at a price!). - Staff were very helpful and efficient. Shuttle bus available for various transfers and journeys. Location was next to Gautrain station which was really convenient. The area outside and around the hotel was a busy urban setting but felt safe and the access to shops, museums and parks was straightforward and involved short walks.

For the price we paid it was really great. We enjoyed a glass of wine at the swimming pool area. We felt welcome.
