  I have stayed for over a month, and have extended my stay for two months more. Staff are extremely helpful and kind. clean facilities, comfortable beds, hot and clean showers and toilets, amazing chill out pool area, nice bar!!! Easy walk into town and waterfront! Peaceful and quiet surroundings, but literally a minute walk to bars and restaurants... was die leute sagen » and shopping places. When I come back to SA I will be staying here again! - I loved the staff, they were all friendly and helpful :) The backpackers is located very well, very close to all amneties. I met great friends in my dorm, they were very considerate and great to hang with:) I will recommend the place to anyone visiting Cape Town. It was a great place and lovely vibe.

  The backpack was a really comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The common areas were laid back & relaxed and the place was very clean. Location was great & just a short walk from the top of Long Street and some good restaurants. Waterfront was a decent walk or a fairly quick taxi ride. Compared to some friends who were staying at numerous backpackers in and around Long Street, this sounded superior & I would definitel - It was my second time at this hostel and I came back three years later because I liked it. Apart from it being excellent for what is officially a backpackers place I really appreciate the attitude of owners and staff who are supporting community projects and take recycling seriously, something that is still not very wide spread in South Africa. Excellent Sandwiches and breakfast.
