  Marvellous place. Another one reason to come back to Knysna, just to stay there. It's more, than just a hotel. The place not just to get the bed and breakfast, but to enjoy every minute. - Every thing. Staff was very friendly and helpful, owner was more like a long time friend.   I have never been so impressed with the staff, than I have with those at this hotel. They could not do enough to ensure that you had a great stay. One of our highlights of our trip to SA. A credit to the hotel. Great location, so near the main lagoon, great design in rooms and great value.   It was worth paying a little extra for the Honeymoon Room. It was a beautiful, bright, modern, large room and the view of the Knysna Heads and Lagoon was outstanding. The Manager, Vee, was absolutely brilliant ! She has such a warm personality and does everything she can to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Large room, fabulous double rainshower plus bath. Good quality linens and towels. The view from the room was breathtaking. Vee is such a lovely person and really wants you to enjoy your stay. Great breakfasts too

  To put my stay in context, I normally stay in 5 star hotels and have travelled extensively. The stay at this hotel exceeded our expectations, the location is great, the place beautiful.   We were delighted with our room at Knysna Country House, and agreed that it was our favourite Guest House during our two week trip to SA. The room we has was superb (though air con would have been even better!), and the owners had thought of everything.
