Manaar House is definitely one of the best places to stay in Durban/Umhlanga. We stayed there for three nights in the self Catering Apartment. The a/c duplex unit was extremely spacious, spotlessly clean, nicely furnished and well maintained. As a couple with young kids, it was an absolute dream staying at Manaar House as it was so kid friendly that our kids did not want to go out because of the toys provided in our section of the house! They had so much fun & were so comfortable and as parents, that mattered most to us. The views from the kids rooms were phenomenal & they absolutely loved it!

For an overnight this was a good choice; our arrival was late afternoon into Durban and we were nervous about driving in the dark. It quickly falls dark around 18.00, apparently year round.

Das Apartment ist voll ausgestattet und gleich bei der Ankunft fühlt man sich wie zu Hause. Die Eigentümer sind sehr herzlich und immer bemüht jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen. Wir haben uns sehr sehr wohl gefühlt und würden bei unserem nächsten Aufenthalt in Durban gerne wieder kommen. -

taxi from Durban, so the owners offered to drive me to town (just 5 min
away) to pick up groceries, they took me into town again the next day
for other errands, and they drove me to the airport when I left! The
