The location is very central, all rooms overlook the canal, the owner is
super nice and helpful, both the room and the bathroom are spacious and
have everything you may need there (I.E. hair dyer, bath robes, basic
cosmetics, complimentary bottle of bubbly, mini bar). You can get
anywhere by foot in less than 30 mins. Breakfast is massive and includes
freshly squeezed orange juice, eggs of choice, salmon, cheeses, fruit,
croissants etc. Maps and tourist guides are also available.

Good host who provided useful local information on nearby pubs and cafes. Very close to Central station and tram routes. Flat well sourced with tea/coffee and travel guides/maps. First of all, when we arrived, Goran (the manager) was waiting for us. He explained everything, gave tips of places to visit the city, showed the whole house and its facilities. Gijs was an excellent host. He helped us before arrival and during the stay. We loved the character of the house (we stayed in the loft room). It was very close to everything in Amsterdam. Rather than feeling like a tourist staying in a hotel, we felt like we are staying in our own house. Perfect value for money! Amazing breakfast.
