  Das kleine Hotel mit dem grossen Zimmer mit Blick zum Kanal ist der ideale Ausgangspunkt für ein Eintauchen in in die Amsterdamer Grachten-Atmosphäre. Man ist hier offen, freundlich mit Augenzwinkern, schnörkellos und unkompliziert.   I loved everything about it. The location was amazing, literally a 5 minute walk to dam square. The bed was really comfy, the bathroom and whole apartment was very modern and stylish yet extremely cosy.   On our arrival at the apartment our host, Hein, was waiting for us out the front of the building. So the personal greeting was a good first impression. The apartment was clean, well presented and comfortable. Breakfast was available at a local cafe and offered a reasonable choice from the menu. Hein was a perfect host and very accommodating. This was the first stay on a two week trip. If I could have wrapped this room and taken it with us for the rest of trip, I would have! Extremely clean, bright, radiant heat in the bathroom, delightful and very helpful host, and the beds are sooooo comfortable.It was a delight! Stay here, you won't be sorry.

  Staying at this hotel was an amazing experience, me and my wife have been in many places of the world, but this experience was the best by far. The hotel has an excellent location, right on the picturesque Prinsengracht canal surrounded by boutiques, galleries and restaurants. Te owner Martin was fantastic, and very helpful, and made us feel right at home. The rooms, were very spacious, elegant - The location and views from the suite could not be bettered. The suite itself was large,spotless,very comfortable,warm and with excellent ensuite facilities. The manager,Thomas,was incredibly welcoming,helpful and spoke perfect English. He also prepared an excellent breakfast which was eaten overlooking the canal. We would highly recommend and without doubt would return. Thank you Thomas for all your help. Robert and Joyce.

I was only staying for one night en route to Africa, but they were very accommodating in every way. The Garden Room is spacious and comfortable. They thoughtfully provide breakfast in the room so that guests can have it at whatever time is best. Also, the location is excellent--very walkable to many if not most of Amsterdam's major places of interest. One note: the two flights of stairs are steep, so that may be something to consider.

  The owner, Barbara gave us a warm welcoming feeling to her home n providing us w many good tips ard. V good wifi!! The place is clean, v comfortable and we had a very privacy room. It had a private entrance back to the room too.. Bus/tram seem to be jus at the door step. Direct bus from the airport. the centrum is walking dis - The staff was excellent. This is a small run operation but they were helpful and made us feel very welcome. Room is quite simple with a funny little shower off the kitchen (and the toilet behind that!) but it was clean, comfortable, quiet, and in a great location. Great for a couple looking for a quiet location to relax and be out of the hustle and bustle of downtown Amsterdam. This was a great area to stay to check out the trendy Jordaan, nine streets, and night club district.
