  I stayed in Hotel Nepalaya for 3 nights before joining tour at Thamel eco resort. My stay at Nepalaya was wonderful! From the moment I walked in to the reception area I found the staff very friendly and with a good sense of humour!(Milan- the manager I'm talking) I was taken to my room(204) and shown around. The young man(Ramesh Dulal) came and intro - Staff are very helpful and knowledgable. They were so friendly that after the first day, I could remember most of them by first name. They sent a taxi at the airport to pick me up even though I forgot to tell them my exact arrival time. Later I found out that theytook the trouble of analyzing where I m comming from and identifying the flight!!! I was completely amazed!!!   The staff in the hotel were very friendly, and it is 'one stop shop' to organise for everything in Kathmandu. Dipendra (Dip) is the hotel manager who is a 'goto' man. When we arrived at the hotel,we did not have any plans.   Friendly staff and good location! I stayed here for one night only. The staff Sujan and Genesh helps me a lot when I arrive. They are soooo friendly and speaks good English. The hotel is located in Thamel area which is a popular shopping area in Kathmandu. Lots of stores around here.
