From the start, we were made to feel very welcome. Even before we reached the hotel, the owners had worked out that our plane had been delayed (diverted to Agadir because of a sandstorm) and adjusted the evening meal for us.
The ambience of the hotel was very relaxing, with a quiet courtyard and plunge pool for reflection and reading during the heat of the day. Flowers in all the rooms really did add something extra. And the turtles were a star attraction - role models for contemplation.

The building is great with a traditional riad style. The open terrace was lovely and secluded; perfect for breakfast and sunbathing. The staff were very friendly and offered to arrange tours etc for us. The restaurant was a special treat with gorgeous French cuisine. If you are planning a trip to Marrakech, you definitely have to book this Riad. Every time you enter the Riad it feels like coming home. The staff is friendly and helps you with everything.
