  Kleines Gasthaus, mitten in der kleinen Stadt gelegen und doch sehr ruhig mit einem wunderbaren kleinen Innenhof, in dem gefrühstückt wird. Imponiert und gefallen hat uns besonders die äußerst persönliche, hilfsbereite und die weit über das Normalmaß hinausgehende individuelle Betreuung durch Youssef, den Besitzer des Hauses. Das Frühstück ist auß... was die leute sagen » ergewöhnlich vielfältig und reichhaltig für marokkanische Verhältnisse. Es ist tatsächlich eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, was man jedoch unbedingt - Ufff, ich glaube alles. Youssef war der beste Gastgeber aller Zeiten. Es ist sehr nett und freundlich. Chez Youssef ist gut ausgestattet und liegt ganz nah von den Sanddünen. Wenn etwas an Chez Youssef uns gefehlt hat, hat Youssef sich darum gekümmert, dass wir es bekommen. Ich kann Chez Youssef für Erholungsurlaub weiterempfehlen.

  We had an excellent stay in this authentic place, located just in front of big dunes of Erg Chebbi. The Guest gouse is located in Tiharien village (4 km from Merzouga). I've found this village much more pleasant than Merzouga. There are less hustlers pushing you to take a camel trip, it is cleaner and more relaxing.   We loved our stay here, including the night in the desert they arranged for us. The staff was amazing and the family that owns the guesthouse was incredibly welcoming -- Hassan sat on the terrace with us for half an hour just to chat after we arrived. They're also working to preserve the dunes and keep dirtbikes and quads off them. Great people! The food is the best I've had in Morocco (and I have been here for 2 months so far). The rooms are very spacious and spotless! If you don't stay here while in Merzouga, you are really missing something very special!

  First of all , I would like to make a special notice about Mohammed the manager. I had booked a 2 night stay at Merzouga camp and to my surprise I received an email from him informing me that due to the hot weather (June) it would be better if we stayed only for a day in the dunes and could spend the other day at his house in Hassi Labiad which is... was die leute sagen » a small village at the gates of Sahara.I Always appreciate honest people and this was a hint of how nice our stay would be. After a 7 hour drive from - We enjoyed every last detail of our trip. Our guides were incredibly helpful, very kind and patient with our children. We arrived in the midst of a late night sand/rainstorm and yet Mohammed still came out to guide us back to our room. We were invited into their homes, fed like kings, catered too and truly felt not only at ease but also safe. We had been a bit worried traveling to Morocco with only woman and children, but the staff was very kind and we never felt a bit of unease while visiting

  On a hill overlooking the town and has a nice view from the room balcony. The inside is very nice, and the room feels very cosy with the wooden walls.
