Located at Meknes Medina, just 7 minutes walk from the main square and 3 minutes from medina markets, it has a private car parking just in 100 meters nearby, thus you can come by car and leave it in a safe place. Riad is being run by an Englishman (to whom it might be important), a - The hotel was lovely but very hard to find, we wouldn't have found it if it wasn't for some friendly locals. Food was delicous, the best food we ate while traveling through Morocco. The staff are very friendly and helpful they go out of their way to accommodate you. The locals in the market are all very friendly. The market was amazing the best we had seen in Morocco, a definate must do.

  Though we found the facilities quite basic, this riad delivered what we came for. Ali, the owner, was very available, friendly and responsive to our needs. We wanted to experience desert culture and because of him we did. He took us to a village wedding which happened to be taking place the nite we arrived; he took us on a 4wd trip into the desert... was die leute sagen » to visit a family, hear some traditional musicians, and see aspects of the desert we wouldnt have seen without him. The fact that the riad is located - We were very well greeted by Ali and his staff. Ali quickly arranged jeep and dromedary (no camels in Africa) trips for us. The room was nicely decorated, Maroccan style. We had a wonderful evening meal under the tent by the pool and all you can eat breakfast. Above all we got what we came for, to see the desert, visit a different culture and meet friendly people.

  Kleines Gasthaus, mitten in der kleinen Stadt gelegen und doch sehr ruhig mit einem wunderbaren kleinen Innenhof, in dem gefrühstückt wird. Imponiert und gefallen hat uns besonders die äußerst persönliche, hilfsbereite und die weit über das Normalmaß hinausgehende individuelle Betreuung durch Youssef, den Besitzer des Hauses. Es ist tatsächlich eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft, was man jedoch unbedingt - Ufff, ich glaube alles. Youssef war der beste Gastgeber aller Zeiten. Es ist sehr nett und freundlich. Chez Youssef ist gut ausgestattet und liegt ganz nah von den Sanddünen. Wenn etwas an Chez Youssef uns gefehlt hat, hat Youssef sich darum gekümmert, dass wir es bekommen. Ich kann Chez Youssef für Erholungsurlaub weiterempfehlen.

We were met at the taxi stand by the owner's brother and directed to the hotel, despite the fact that we hadn't thought to advise our expected arrival time.   We loved our stay here, including the night in the desert they arranged for us. The staff was amazing and the family that owns the guesthouse was incredibly welcoming -- Hassan sat on the terrace with us for half an hour just to chat after we arrived. They're also working to preserve the dunes and keep dirtbikes and quads off them. Great people! The food is the best I've had in Morocco (and I have been here for 2 months so far). The rooms are very spacious and spotless!   The Proprietor was wonderful. He was always willing to help, and his family was extremely nice. I was there for an extended period of time, and I really was made to feel like part of the family. It's one of the best places in terms of atmosphere that I have ever stayed. The rooms are very basic, but the view from the terrace is fantastic! This is complemented with simple, but comfortable ikea style furniture. Location in the medina is good.   The hotel is located in the old town and we had good experience about the people in the twon. The old lady who kept the house was very friendly even though she could not speak English. Her heart was there in the job to serve. The room is wide with windows open to outside, making a good airflow even though we had to withstand the children's play ... was die leute sagen » noices until midnight. The hotel is located near a water fountain where ladies came to collect - The lady who attended us was lovely, and the view from the terrace was excelent. Really enjoyed our stay at Al Andaloussiya. I trully recommend it.
