The surroundings are very beautifull, people all around are extremely friendly and the Riad is within the old city center of Ouarzazate. She's also the president of a local association who helps women to work. We felt as part of the local community, as we went to the local hammam and dealt with local carpet and jewel producers. It looks out over the kasbah dwelling as well as the countryside. The room itself was okay. It was a bit dark and the bathroom needs upgrading. Breakfast was superb. We were served a copious amount of food with a variety of breads, pancakes, boiled eggs and yogurt. It was delicious.

  I loved the way I was contacted by Claudie as soon as I made the booking. When we met I felt like I knew her already. She made us all feel very welcome - especially my daughter who adored her dogs (peacocks and tortoises). The staff were all extremely friendly, our suite was perfect and the food delicious.
