  With so many Riads to choose from our end choice was based on other reviews. We chose to be met at the airport as arranged by Zak the manager of the Riad, this cost 15€ and we would advise others to do the same as the Tahar Oasis would be very difficult to find. On arriving close to the hotel we were taken on foot to the Riad through a few streets... was die leute sagen » and into what can only be described as an alleyway. Initially we were concerned as the alleyway was dark and our natural instincts were one of danger - The staff at the hotel were fantastic as was the decor, comfort and the best breakfast I had while in Morocco. I like the riad set up as it is very authentic and the roof terrace at the Tahar was really lovely. Location too, right on the edge of the shopping district was just right, but being off the main streets very quite and relaxing too. It is hard to find alone, but the manager is happy to meet you if you need and assist with directions and luggage.

  We stayed here for 5 nights in November and Riad Lorsya couldn't have suited us more perfectly. It is brilliantly situated just off Marrakech's souks in the centre of the Medina and amazingly peaceful considering its central, bustling location. Riad Lorsya is a hidden gem. We loved everything about it. The room was lovely, with an exotic feel, clean and comfortable. The Riad is very quiet. Breakfast was delicious and big, not mentioning the fact that to my surprise I was provided with a gluten free bread! We appreciated being showed the way to the main square the first evening and that there was always a member of staff waiting on the corner of the main street to escort us to the riad late at night. Great facilities and atmosphere to escape the hustle and bustle of Marrakesh medina.

  For those of you that found Eden Andalou Hotel & Resort not satisfactory, I would like to say that it is as good as it possibly can get in Marrakech. It is clean, rooms are spacious, there are several bars and restaurants and the service is GOOD! Having heating in the room was very welcome as it dropped to 10 degrees when we were there.

The taxi can drop you at the doorstep unlike many other Riads which are located in the narrow lanes of the Medina and have to be reached on foot. The room had aircon, was cleaned everyday and the bathroom is perfect. The swimming pool is small, but if you just want to cool down it's a perfect size! I would absolutely recommend it. It's a ten minute walk from the 'Jema el fnaa' square in a quiet neighborhoud.

Food is offered as buffet or as standard menu on the two available restaurants. The quality of both is exceptional.
