Riad El Az - Fotos
Was die Leute sagen
Beautiful Riad, good value for money and very clean with lovely Moroccan
decor. From the roof top terrace you can see the beautiful palace
gardens. The family room we stayed in was huge, and stylish and also
felt very secure. Like other travellers have said, ask for the Hospital
Mamounia for taxi drop off and then next to the pharmacy follow the
cobbled road on the right and just follow the house numbers, so
relatively easy to find for a riad in the Medina. alle bewertungen »
We spend 4 nights at the Riad and it was lovely! It was clean and the breakfast was good as well. it´s only 10 minutes away from the center ( the main square, jemaa el fna) but if it´s your first time in marrakech the location may come as a shock at first because it´s situated in a poor area. All in all, I higly recommend it.
Extremely nice tidy and welcoming place, excellent price for what is offered. very nice terrace, beautiful, spacious and clean rooms - we came back to Marrakech just to spend an additional night in this Ryad after 2 weeks in morocco.
We were on this hotel three days and we really enjoyed the stay there, the staff are really friendly and helpful. Really quiet and comfortable, we love it and if go to Marrakesh in the future we will definitly book this Riad again.
Excellent location, beautiful decor, plenty of space for kids in the suite we had. Lovely local breakfast of pancakes and coffee, located within a local street so you get to see local people in their everyday lives. Just perfect.
It's very near to the Jemaa El Fna Square, just 10 min walk. The
Medina is a very safe place, althogh it doesn't look like. The Riad
is very beautiful! We are allowed to use the refrigerator to store
somethings. :).
It is a lovely Riad, well located 10mns away from the main square. It's quiet and the personel is nice and helpful. A beautiful place to stay and to come back...which I'll do in July. Thanks & see you soon.
This is my second time at the Riad and will go back again. It is a lovely place, the staff is very nice, really well located in a very calm part of the town and still at 8/10 mns walk from the main square.
The main hallway around which all the rooms are based is stunningly pretty and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this lovely little hotel.
Everyting was almost perfect. First: the riad is really beautiful! Very nice staff, place was clean, location was perfect, 8 min walking from Djemaa el Fna, 3 min from Bab Agnaou.
Very nice looking riad if you like staying in them instead of posh
hotels. Rooms are getting cleaned, staff is nearly invisible.
Breakfast is good.
Staff was very helpful and it felt like home. The breakfast was simple but perfect as u don't really need a lot in the Marrakech heat! Very clean!.
About 5 Min walk to Djeema EL Fnaa, cosy and very homely atmosphere, not a noisy place to stay.
El Az is a very beautiful and clean riad. It is located in a very nice part of Marrakesh.
The Riad was very clean and it was located in a great area.
Clean, amazing value for money, good wifi.
Liked the outdoor spaces in the Riad, the square was a nice place to sit and the wifi worked outside too! The roof terrace was also very sweet.
nice building but could have been a bit more comfortable.
Our shower wasn´t working properly but it wasn´t that much of a problem.
Everything was perfect.
It is hard to ajust the shower temperature, either the water is boiling,
or freezing. The breakfast could use some improvement (yogurt, fruits,
cereal...).
Finding riads (including this one) is not easy if you are not local. No
signs leading to it and it's at the end of a small side street.
Probably sending a piece of very detailed map+instructions to your
guests would be helpful. Getting an arranged transfer is not the best
idea as they usually are very pricy comparing to country standard.
Nothing.
There was no one around to ask for directions or questions, went in winter and there was no hot water at night for shower.
The water in the toilet was running constantly and there was a bad smell from the drain. That was very annoying.
The hot water was bipolar! One second cold and the next boiling hot.
We had 4 rooms and the standards varied, the twin rooms were ok, the doubles were a bit cramped. The bathrooms in all rooms were a bit poor, and the drains smelt very badly.
The main guy Josef who dealt with reception wasn't very friendly, but the kitchen/cleaners were sweet.
Also found it a bit tricky to find down two alleyways.
breakfast was fine and staff friendly but previous afternoon no one around much to help out, no tea coffee offered etc.no map of medina or directions.
