This was my first time travelling alone to Marrakech and a single female could have been daunting, but, was my favourite trip over! Be smart, get Pascal to arrange the car to collect you from the airport, so you don't get lost in the souks trying to find the riad with luggage, and do practice runs during the day from the square to the riad. As long as you know where you are in the square you can find your way home! Mm

  What a wonderful riad! It is located right in Jemaa el Fna, though quite impossible to find it on your own, without some help from the locals (they will ask for some cash, of course). But once you find it, it will be a piece of cake to find your way through those amazing souks. Our big thank you goes to Mohamed, who is always willing to go an extra - The hotel keeper Mohamed was the kindest person we met in Marrakesh! He arranged a transfer on our arrival, cooked us dinner, helped us out with all our questions about the city, the country, the sights, anything really. The hotel itself is located in the very heart of the Medina, but at the same time is in a quiet place, we loved the big room we had and the rooftop terrace for some late night watermelon and dates! Really recommend this sweet and cozy hotel! :)

  We appreciated the hospitality and kindness of the hostess and staff; the cook was excellent; the location of the riad is a strength (not far from the square Jemaa el-Fna). Extremely quiet despite being located at the entrance of the souks. Having breakfast over there every morning was extremely pleasant, a good start of the day. - Very nice owners, Audrey and Paco. Staff friendly. Location excellent, central and close to everything without the noise you would expect. Quiet, great terrace for relaxing morning and evening. Stay in for a meal, Saida great cook.   Great location - no dark alleyways to walk down (a considerable number of Riads in Marrakech are located in areas that look dodgy during the day, let alone at night). Refreshing garden / pool area - nice to come back to after the hussle and bussle of the city. Indoor restaurant a nice place to eat - but the menu was uninspiring - chose to eat here... was die leute sagen » after all the rave reviews it had received, but cant understand why. Coffee in the afternoon by the pool is very good, but the coffee served at break - palaus donab was a beautiful glamorous peaceful and fragrant haven. Our room was lovely , quiet and private. The breakfasts by the pool with the birds singing were glorious. It was well situated for shops and restaurants and although near the medina was peaceful and safe inside. The staff were courteous and unimposing but bit formal. However they were helpful in finding me an emergency dentist. Thank you and loved the atmosphere.

  Super nettes Personal, genauso wie der "Patron", der Deutsch sprach und uns viel Interessantes in der Stadt gezeigt hat. Das Frühstück auf der Dachterasse war perfekt, die Lage sehr zentral.   This is now my third time in Marrakech and I can say that my stay At El kennaria was brilliant!!!. The Riad is spacious, clean and really well located about 2mns from the main square. The staff is very helpful and really nice to be with. The terrace is the bigger one I have seen (so far) with excellent music to chill out at anytime of the day and ... was die leute sagen » night.   No need to look further: just book this riad! I looked for days to find a riad, there where thousands of them, but very pleased with my final choice! We had an amazing stay in this Riad last week. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. The staff was extremely heartwearming friendly. My boyfriend and I stayed in this riad after coming from a 3 day trip from the desert, we were exhausted and the staff was great at making us relax and feel comfortable.   We really loved the B&B, it had a lovely inner place where you could get come to peace after being in the hectic inner city of Marrakech. The personnel was lovely and genuinely nice, special thanks go out to Saana, Meriam, Soufian and Hassan as our stay would not have been the same without them. They were super friendly and offered us to walk ... was die leute sagen » with us to the nearest internet cafe to print something, to go to the pharmacy and even go shopping with us for clothes :) our trip really would have - The Dar Marhaba is a sea of tranquility in a crazy city. The staff are beyond helpful and although my French is poor and my Arabic practically non-existant we managed to get by!! I would recommend this beautiful riad to anybody. Close to the square. But far away enough to be peaceful. The roof top terrace is a beautiful place to escape the chaos.
