  Casa Lila is amazing! It felt like a real treat. They upgraded us to a bigger room at no charge, and the Rose suite was phenomenal! I loved the bright colors and the design of Casa Lila, and how it felt both old/antique and new/modern at the same time. In the room was the most amazing bath, part of the old Hammam, we were told. The staff was super friendly and helpful, booking us a last minute hammam and massa - The reception staff was very helpful providing a map and locations with restaurant recommendations. The breakfast on the terrace was served by a calming and attentive member of staff and varied each morning. Our suite on the second floor was spacious and quiet. Located in the Medina this riad is close to everything. The terrace area was good for sunbathing and there were loungers on another floor too. Plenty of places to sit comfortably within the riad.

  The roof terrace had an amazing view & a nice chill out area in the shade. The room was nice, simple & clean. One thing to note is coming from the beach you have to go into the medina to get to it (not quite clear on the map) but then it is in a good location 2mins from the Main Street. - Warm, friendly feel....a comfortable home away fro... was die leute sagen » m home. It was peaceful, comfortable and perfect for four days in Essaouira. The hotel staff were very helpful at all times. It's an approximate 4 minutes walk to the market area. The view from the terrace is wonderful. The room we stayed in was big and lovely. My wife wants to go back, I'm sure we will one day!

  The location was good and it was very easy to find the hotel. The staff was very friendly - they gave us very accurate information about the town (shopping, restaurants, sightseeing). We also liked the breakfast on the nice roof terrace. And the wifi network was much better then in our 5-star hotel in Marrakech!! The roof terrace where breakfast was served provided good views over the medina, whil ethe breakfast itself was one excellent.   We had to cancel our first night due to illness, but everybody at Dar Ness was most helpful. All staff were very polite and nothing was too much trouble. It was nice that both James and Elizabeth, the owners, were on hand to chat and provide advice about the area.
