  Nice hotel located at Kaunas city's main walking street Laisves Aleja, within walking distance to the old town and the Akropolis shopping mall. We stayed 5 nights in a spacious and comfortable double room facing a quiet parking lot. Beautiful room, the cleanest bathroom I have ever been in, excellent channels and several news channels in English. Breakfast was ample and good. There was an umbrella stand at reception with several umbrellas for the guests to take out in case it rains. These simple touches made this hotel experience even more enjoyable. I couldn't believe that this hotel is actually only 2 star rating.

It takes about 30 min by foot (a very nice walk along the main pedestrian street, Laisves Alley) or 10-15 min by the trolleybus which stops right in front of the hotel. The fantastic price compared to the IBIS hotel across the road which is up to double the price for a bland room. This hotel has charisma and I will be bringing my wife here for a romantic weekend next month. My rating is 9. Hotel loses 1 point as its at the east end of the city centre. The best value for money in Kaunas by far.
