  The staff is helpful and they speak English very well. I checked-in late at night (around 10.30 pm) but they have midnight staff ready waiting for me. It's awesome. The place is small but very neat and very clean. There are free wi-fi on each floor and the signal strength is good. I share the room with 3 other girls.   Khaosan World Ryokan has many enjoyable features. The decor is a mix of vestiges of the former hotel and a contemporary version of the traditional Japanese tatami interior. The hostel itself is superb and incomparable to most European ones I've stayed in both in terms of cleanliness and comfort. Plus, there's a free food and drink night every Wednesday, which is a fantastic way to meet new people!
