Was die Leute sagen
Staff are very friendly, warm and attentive. They prepare the room and
heat it up before our arrival so that the moment we enter, it is nice
and comfy. They make breakfast in the morning at requested time and call
you just exactly in time. To come out.

This was my favourite place to stay. The staff were so accommodating.
The rooms were beautifully large. The onsen was clean and luxurious. The
food was yummy. The bedroom faced the river and mountains. There are
some great temples and shrines close by and some nice hiking tracks.
A tip for getting there. Catch the JR bus from Kyoto Station (rank 3) until Yamashiro Stop and they can pick you up. Otherwise a taxi is only $25 AUD.
Hiroko the owner and son Kiezo were excellent in taking care of the guests. These guys are genuine and you get what you see. They go the extra mile in promoting their location . Ideal for romantic get away from the hustle and bustle and immerse in the solitary wilderness visiting the mountain Shinto retreat to realise what you are already missing in life !!.
Staying at this hotel was one of the highlights of our trip to Japan.
The staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful and the location is
stunning. If you want a memorable stay in a traditional ryokan with the
nicest staff you'll ever experience, along with beautiful walks in
nature, then I can't recommend this place highly enough.
Excellent service by the owners and the staff. They go all the way out to make your stay comfortable. The room is very comfortable and as we are the only one staying there that night, they allow us to use the hot bath together. Food quality is good and they serve us in the privacy of a room.
We will definitely visit the place again.
Very friendly staff, who picked us up, brought us to the shrines and later back to the bus station. Very tasty food in the room served by a very friendly Japanese and with a funny explanation. Exceptionally use of the bath by us as a couple was granted.
Excellent to relax unwind and wonderful to sleep undisturbed amidst running creek, forest canopy and lovely ladies who make you at home along with gracious monika to help in English.
The superb location, the traditional Japanese environment and the excellent service provided by the staff. They were very friendly and great hosts. They make you feel at home.
The staff were amazing. I felt like a member of their family, so warm inside, welcome. Would definitely recommend going off the beaten track to experience this establishment.
很喜歡此旅館的一切。如果再來京都,定必再住在這裡。
Love this hotel much, if come again, will certainly stay here again.
Beautiful location in the mountains just outside Kyoto. Very relaxing and incredibly nice staff.
Nice stuff, always very helpful. Driving us to the near sightseeing place for free.
We stay for 3 days and one of the breakfast isn't as nice as the
last one, but that's the only minor thing (we seriously
don't mind).
In all honesty nothing ! They did all they could to makeover visit memorable . Young Kiezo even dropped us to the Golden Temple in heavy rain in their mini bus at no cost as a part of their hospitality !.
Nothing at all.
Some equipment (furniture, individual restroom and onsen) is somehow worn.
Towels insufficient for hot spa baths, no clock in room,no bath curtain that makes wash room slippery.
It's almost an hour away from Kyoto station, but that's fair, considering the superb location of this ryokan.
沒有。Nothing complain.
A bit too far away to travel back and forth from Kyoto center. It takes 1h to get to Kyoto station.
It's impossible to get to the hotel by walking with luggages if you stop at JR bus station.
But the hotel can drive you for free. please make sure to call the hotel for picking up at the bus station. They are very nice.
