  The set-up is a bit weird, there is no actual hotel lobby. Instead you are given keys by the staff of the Ippoppotamo restaurant. But, then you are led to the back of the hotel and to your own private room and wow! The hotel isn't cheap but it surely is worth every cent! The hosts were very friendly and we were surprised when we realised on the second day of our stay that they were identical twins :)) The room was very clean, full of light and with a great view over the hills.   Monica, the owner, is a sublime hostess. She is warm and welcoming and could not have tried harder to make my family feel at home and benefit from our trip with local information. The location is good for the city of Verona, the surrounding countryside and Lake Garda. You will need a car to get to it and to get about but Monica was again a wonderful source on information on how to achieve this. - Great place and great host. It's close to Verona (10-15 min drive) and a great value for money. My room was large and of high quality. The hotel is on a farm, which immerses you in nature and quiteness, but still a very short ride away from the center of Verona. The host was extremely friendly and always available to help you. She gave me very valuable advice regarding Verona, restaurants, parking, etc. Easy to find, even at night, using google maps.

Location is good for car but can also easily be accessed by bus - stop is right after the corner, travel to the city center takes 10-15 min.
