They really made us feel at home, a tip for those who choose to stay there, have a drink in the balcony, relax and watch the lake....   Wonderful situation and lovely in the autumn. Marvellous grounds, access to the lake, lots of different places to walk and to enjoy the views.Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very peaceful, but walk outside the grounds into Sirmioneand there's lots of activity ! - the Villa Cortine is an outstanding place to simply relax and enjoy life.   Everything from location to family that run the business. Very relaxed & homely atmosphere, beautiful accommodation on the 3rd floor with excellent wi-fi service. Only 1 km from nearest shops in one direction & 2km to the village of Sirmione an all it's fab streets an restaurants etc . The delightful ladies at reception gave us a map and instructions to get around. Our apartment was spacious and functional, only lacking a corkscrew and some washing up sponges/soap. A basic breakfast is available at an additional cost. Wifi was a little patchy in the room but didn't cause us too much trouble as another router was based in reception. Overall a very good stay.
