  It seems the hotel has been refurbished recently. furthermore they have extended the wireless LAN to the several floors - and it's free. very friendly staff. the prices for dinner and the bar are ok. it is a quiet area inside Sirmione. - Good location.   The apartment was tastefully designed and furnished, every thing was very clean, there is a pool (though the water were COLD!!) our apartment was located in the second building which didn't have the indoor pool and the sauna, but you could easily pop into the next door building which is a part of Acqua Resort and use them. The large garden area was very relaxing and allowed you to get away from the hustle and bustle (to be expected) of the pool area. The daily cleaning of the room was of an exceptional standard. The overall experience was excellent and the rates are budget friendly - would definitely recomm - The staff was great, knowledgeable of the area and very friendly. The pool was beautiful but cold in the beginning of May. We walked around the town and we were quite close to the middle of Sirmione, about 200m. The staff recommended a boat ride around the island, 40 Euros, and a trip across the Lake to Lazio. Both were excellent. The breakfast was extensive and delicious.
