  Fabulous overall!!! I stayed at this hotel to be close to the airport for an early morning (430am) start. So while the location was a bit of a hike to Venice the previous day, it was worth it for the next morning's airport convenience. They even had a transfer van (booked the day before) for me at 5am for only 6 euros! Excellent service. It is a well designed and superbly fitted out apartment style rooms. Mestre is a great option to stay rather than to fight getting yourself and luggage to Venice island which is a 15 minute bus ride to Venice. Legrenzi Rooms are located close to the bus and train station and a great restaurant and bar plus shopping is right outside the door!

  We were impressed by the warmth and hospitality and helpfulness of the owner/concierge. He speaks English, and kept the front desk open late (after 10 pm) so that we could check in late. Our plane landed at 10 pm at the Venice Marco Polo Airport and we called the hotel as soon as we arrived to ask him to stay open until we could arrive. He did. Very helpful and friendly welcome, which continued throughout the stay. Leave the car at the hotel parking, there are two bus lines, one opposite the hotel, the other 5 minutes walk (bus ride is approx 15 minutes).
