  We were looking for a quite, clean, 1-bedroom appartment, not far from centre to spend there some nights (cause were walking during days) and light breakfasts.   Perfect hotel for being close to the buses, trains and ferries to the Amalphi coast and Pompei. The hotel is right across the road from the station which was a tremendous bonus when carrying heavy luggage. We had a train trip when we left to Rome and it was easy for us. For us the hotel is perfectly located across the piazza from the strain station and at the start of the long pedestrian street which leads to the old town with many delightful little bars and restaurants. We had a very quiet, clean and comfortable room with mini fridge at the back of the hotel to avoid noise from the busy station area. There is a safe private parking, which I highly recommend as this is closed all the time by a shutter. Davide who takes care of the breakfast is very friendly and helpful. Really good staff at Montestella. The location is straight in the city centre. Railway station, day trip boats etc. are all nearby.
