  Die Lage des Hotels am Ostufer (wo die Sonne viel später untergeht als z.B. in Stresa im Westen) ist Top: Das Grundstück liegt direkt am See und ruhig am Ende einer kurzen Sackgasse. Mein Lieblingsplatz: die Terrasse unter Bäumen mit Blick auf den See und die Berge. Das Frühstück ist für italienische Verhältnisse gut: Brötchen, Butter, Marmelade, ... was die leute sagen » Schmelzkäse, gekochte Eier, Joghurt, dazu Kaffee / Cappuccino / Kakao und Orangensaft. Die Hotelbar ist täglich bis ca. 22.30 Uhr geöffnet. 3 Restaura - Ruhige Lage, auch innerhalb des Hotels ruhig; Aussicht auch mit seitlichem Seeblick auf den See, das Monte Rosa massiv und den Tropengarten sehr schön; romantisch-italienisches Flair, Hoteleigner sprechen mehrere Sprachen, z.B. Deutsch, Französisch; Familienbetrieb; alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, ohne aufdringlich zu sein.

  We stayed in Praradiso de Arolo for two nights and were very pleased of the warmth and the efforts of Teresa (the housemother). She always tried to make us feel comfortable and fulfilled us every wish generously. Furthermore, herself made cakes and Italian breads were very delicious. We enjoyed our stay at Paradiso de Arolo very much and want - The lady of the B&B is very friendly and is willing to help you out with all sorts of questions. She made reservations for us with a nearby restaurant and gave us tips for sightseeing. The property, house and bedrooms are decorated in a special way. It's either you like it or you don't. The bed was good and so was the breakfast! There is free parking. It's a little and lovely walk to the lake!

  Perfect quiet location. No activities for children. We were glad there were only adults. The food is of very high class but still at a reasonable price. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. There is a short walking distance (trafic no problem for adults who are fully mobile) to town ,Laveno where you will find traditional Italian resturants -... was die leute sagen » but avoid the pizza on the market square, even for lunch. We had a totally magnificent holiday for 5 days, totally relaxed luxury. Would like to come - This was quite a surprise because the outside does not impress but the inside is very well done with modern fixtures. We were very impressed with the restaurant especially the degustation menu. The owners are doing it up so the outside will probably be modernized during the quiet season.
