Tucked away in mature woodland the rooms are all period restorations, all beautifully designed. Mary Queen of Scots allegedly spent some time here. The staff are both accommodat - The castle and location were simply fantastic in the middle of Chianti in the middle of Tuscany. The food offered in the hotel (5 course meal of excellent local cooking on offer each night) was great along with the wine (produced by the castle). The staff were friendly and helpful.

Das Servicepersonal ist sehr freundlich und spricht relativ gutes Englisch, sodass eine Verständigung , wenn man der ital. Sprache nicht so mächtig ist, problemlos ist. Die Küche bzw. das Resteraunt ist zu empfehlen und entspricht / erfüllt gehobene Maßs... was die leute sagen » täbe.   The resident is very close to Florence, we had a rental car but did not use it because there was a bus station 100m away, took us about 15 min' to arrive florence's center. Moreover the staff was very kind and helpful, especially Fabrizia! Breakfest was nice with good quality materials and the coffee was great(it is Italy after all). For conclusion, a great value pe - The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. The rooms are very large and modern and the breakfast is very nice. The b&b is about 15 mins by car into Florence or say 20 mins on the bus. There is a bus stop just outside of the accomodation. In addition we had a very nice meal at a restaraunt about 400 metres from the b&bB on the main road to Florence which was run by a family originally from Inverness.
