  The Petrara Resort is a charming agriturismo resort in Avola. During our stay there, there were no wandering farm animals except for a couple of cats. The pool is really big and kept clean and kids have plenty of room to wander about and play. We had a quadruple room which was quite spacious and very clean with quite comfortable beds. The parking spaces are numbered matching the room number so each guest has his own parkin - What a haven of peace & tranqulity set in beautiful gardens with a very inviting pool - we had a lovely time just wished we`d stayed longer.Our hosts couldn`t do enough for us and even followed us out in the morning to make sure we got on the motorway ok - thankyou for a very relaxing stay.

  Blu is situated about 1km from the port of Vulcano. The staff speak English and they were only to happy to send the shuttle bus to collect us and our luggage. The accommodation was spartan but clean and comfortable and well-designed so that you stay cool even at the hottest part of the day. The staff were very helpful and considerate and the shuttle bus down to the town is a great benefit. Ring or e-mail ahead and they will pick you up from the ferry when you arrive.

  Aldo is a spirited and welcoming host who sets the tone for a fun time. His wife and son help run Villa Raino. Wild flowers carpeted the farmland surrounding the villa. We slept with our terrace doors open to the starry night and the occasional owl. We awoke to the music of sheep bells and songbirds.   This camping was the most beautiful in San Vito. The staff was really friendly, bungalow we live in was comfortable we were happy that all cookware are in the kitchen. Wonderful sandy beach is not so far away, you can walk and it takes 10 minutes. We can recommend this camping to family or who wants quiet recreation. We stayed in bungalows and they are quite new with sufficient bedroom and small bathroom. Swimming pool with great view on the close hill is perfect solution after day on the beautiful beach of San Vito Lo Capo.
