Extremely helpful staff who take genuine interest in their guests - all you have to do is ASK and Matteo (who speaks English well) will help you out. Owner offered us free lunch because our tour to Mt Etna had to be postponed from AM to PM due to car problems that he could not foresee.

Parking is close, but it is in the blue spaces so you need to be collecting coins to feed the meter.   Although we booked for 2 nights for a hotelroom with seaview we stayed in one of the three cozy and modern Huts, behind the hotelbuilding, situated in a beautiful garden. The Huts are small, but for us it was no problem. We were the only guests and enjoyed the quiet swimming pool with great views on the Etna and the coastal area. The owner's couple were friendly and very helpful for our trip to the top of Etna. Tip: leave the hotel at 08:30, so you take the earliest lift to the top and enjoy the morning sun. Later in the day it gets cloudly. There are three clean, modern and spacious rooms in the basement and four wooden cottages in the garden. Nice pool with stunning view and a professional tennis court.
