  We spent two nights in the hotel and we loved it! The staff is super friendly and speak good English. Before leaving they helped us choosing next destinations in Sicily!   Very nice stay. Great breakfast, most of it home made and fresh. Owner is very friendly, caring, educated and hospitable. No problem getting there. Ispica is interesting for the cava d'Isp - Very eclectic and modern design, the room was very comfortable with lots of storage space and high end shower and bath soaps. The location is rural and very peaceful, the grounds are beautiful, the breakfast was a delicious mix of local dishes and fresh fruit. The lady in charge was very graceful and helpful. I would describe the Balarte as the Gugenheim in the middle on the Scicilian countryside !

We had a bacony on the seaside, it could not be closer to the sea. Also the location is really on the rocks in front of the sea. Selinunte is very close . - A very fair price, beach just in front of the hotel, very quiet neighbourhood (no other hotels around) and an excellent and moderate- priced restaurant in the hotel which serves local food and opens at lunch and supper, so you don't really have to worry about food and just relax the whole day. And there's a window in the shower cabine, so that you can shower and look at the waves crashing at the coast... Awesome experience!
