  The Hotel was absolutely perfect. Staff could not have been friendlier the Restaurant food was truly amazing, the waiters attentive and provided a service second to none.   We loved everything about the Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni! We made our reservation based on a recommendation from a well-travelled, trusted friend, and we were not disappointed. The entire facility is pristine, despite it's age. The service was second to none, from the bellman to the concierge to the housekeeping staff and the waiters in the res... was die leute sagen » taurants and dining room. Our room overlooked the garden and was right next to the church. It was lovely in every sense of the word. The windows opene - Superbly located on water's edge with magnificent outlook over the lake to the western shore. We were upgraded to a junior suite, which was very spacious (two rooms plus excellent bathroom) with lake view. Staff were pleasant and helpfull with no trace of pretension or snobbishness. Dinner in Mistral restaurant, while expensive, was superb and good value. As a bit of a splurge, Grand Hotel Villa Serbelloni really delivered and is on our bucket-list for a return visit!
