  We were very impressed by La Girandola. It is only 3 or 4 minutes from the Fiumicino Airport platform at Roma Termini, which is so convenient. The Hotel is outstandingly clean and nicely decorated. Our room had wifi, a safe and a refrigerator and very comfortable twin beds. The owner, Guglielmo, was so friendly and - Very friendly owner who made us a coffee when we arrived and showed us the main attractions on the map. Owner spoke only a little English but we muddled through and was part of the experience. Nice spacious room. Excellent double glazed windows meant it was quiet at night even in a busy and noisy area.   This hotel is in the perfect location for exploring Rome on foot. We didn't use any public transport whilst we were there, venturing as far as the Spanish Steps, the Colosseum, the Trastevere area and the Vatican City. The hotel was in a great location where we were able to walk to all attractions. The hotel is on a street where there is plenty of great restaurants and bars to relax in the evening before you head back. The hotel room was large for Europe and the staff was very nice & helpful. The hotel is on the 3rd floor of an apartment building and has 4-5 private rooms. There is an elevator and they provide keys for access to the building.

  The room was very comfortable and clean. The location was very good - close enough to walk to the Spanish Steps and about 15 minutes to the Barberini subway station. It is just a bit away from the hectic touristy spots in Rome. The area was quiet.We only took public transit when we went to the Vatican we walked everywhere. The meal was the best - The Location was excellent for getting to the heart of Rome and a short walk to the rail station or bus system, or taxis. There were things to see and do as well as affordable eating places nearby. The breakfast was wonderful compared to what other hotels offered for breakfast. But the hotel staff was simply outstanding. I would definitely look forward to staying there the next time I visit Rome.

  I was traveling solo and wanted a well situated accomodation conveniently located and safe. Four Rivers certainly met my needs. Dominico was very gracious, stayed late to welcome me since my flight arrived late evening and made sure I was settled in and had his mobile number in case I needed anything. It was within easy walking distance to all the major sites and luckily for me there was a close by taxi rank, which was helpful, as I was unfortunately on crutches during my stay.   We have spent in Morelli our honeymoon and everything was very nice! The location is very good! The room was comfortable, not noisy, cleaning was done every day! Breakfast was quite simple (served in our room), but it was no problem, cause there was a fridge in our room to keep our products. The hosts of the hotel ordered us a taxi to pick us from... was die leute sagen » the airport and it was also very comfortable! (47Euro whereas ordinary price in taxiservice is from 48Euro). Don't forget to take a mini-kettle with - I love the cappuccino and croissant for breakfast. Do not miss those! The location is pretty strategic with Via Veneto just a 5-minute walk away. At first I had my misgivings about the safety of the area as I was on my own, but I think it is much better compared to those nearer to Termini.

  This place is a Trastevere gem! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of all of the action (noise wasn't too bad, didn't have to use the ear plugs I brought). Beautifully appointed, recently renovated rooms. Staying here made us feel like we were living like locals, rather than hotel guests.   Location is excellent in - walking distance to most major attractions. Lots of good restaurants close by. Room size was great, very spacious and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel arranged an airport pick up and drop off for us which was helpful. We were also able to check out very late as there was no one needing the room immed... was die leute sagen » iately after us. We rented bikes from a small bike shop close by (details were at the reception), and saw even more of the city. Just be careful of t - Location is great! Breakfast - in the room or on the common terrace - very good. This is a b&b on the 2nd floor of an old block, and once you get to the 2nd floor it's excellent, the rooms are large, well fitted out, clean and well serviced. However, although the booking photos show the plaza, the entrance to the building is a steel barred gate on a small side street which the taxi found tough to locate. The initial impression from the entrance gate is therefore not as expected.
