  This was a great experience -- outstanding rooms, right in the Sassi, with wireless internet and a good restaurant too. The staff was quite friendly and helpful. I hope to stay here again. - Good experience to stay in Sassi. Scenery from the hotel terrace was outstandintg.

Matera is absolutely fascinating also. we spent a day wandering around the Sassi and another walking on the opposite side of the Gorge. - everything. beautiful room , a cave dwelling very sympathetically renovated using the very best of everything. position fantastic, breakfast on the terrace overlooking the sissi. lovely interesting owners, one of whom was born there and told us the history, and even a large bowl of delicious fruit in the room. recommend to anyone.
