    The Romeo hotel has a nice modern look and feel to it. High quality furnishing all around. Staff was friendly and always seemed to help when needed. If your coming from America, expect room to be smaller than we're used to. We had a small room for the price of a suite in Vegas. The room has everything you will need. Bed was soft with gigantic soft... was die leute sagen » pillows. The pool area was gorgeous but closes too early. The pool was heated and was very confortable even in 50 degree weather. The wait staff were - The hotel is really amazing! It's high class design, the staff is very professional. It's centrally located in the harbour. Walking distance to the center.

    Absolutely everything!! The hotel is so bright and crisp. The bathroom was spectacular with all the lovely marble and all the amenities; slippers, bathrobes, lots of towels and anything you may have left a home was already there. The breakfast was wonderful; anything you could possibly want to eat. The staff were extremely helpful and went out of ... was die leute sagen » their way to help us. The location was perfect as we had tickets to the opera, not realizing the hotel was just around the corner. I would recommend t - In 2 weeks traveling around Italy, this is the best, without a doubt. The staff could not be faulted, rooms were modern and very clean, breakfast was the best continental buffet, and for the older part of the city, location was great. For further afield, a short walk to the Metro. Wins on all aspects of a great stay. Make sure you have an address in Italian, because it is a little hard to find 1'st time. ps. Skip Pompeii and go to Herculeum.
