The best part about staying here is the owner, Andrea. Once I booked the trip, I received a lovely email from him with a map to the hotel from the train station and a link to the train station's website. Once we arrived, he explained everything very carefully about the hotel and gave us suggestions for places to eat and to hike. When the weather was rainy, he gave us suggestions for things to do. The room was cleaned every day with fresh linens and towels. The location was perfect for our . alle bewertungen »
Such an awesome and amazing bed and breakfast in Monterosso! Andrea
was extremely friendly, funny and helpful! He gave us recommendations
for restaurants and suggestions for hiking as well as information
about local places. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and the
price was very reasonable for the location! We loved our stay there
and hope to return some day! Be sure to visit Lorenzo at the local
wine shop on the Via Roma.
Whilst it is basic in amenities, the welcome you receive from Andrea is second-to-none. Absolutely fantastic host who goes out of his way to make you feel welcome. Fantastic. From advice on where to eat, hike and shop to the very warm and friendly welcome, you'll not find a better host in Cinque Terre! Very hard-working and super-friendly. I would definitely return.
Andrea is excellent! One of the nicest and most helpful people I've ever met! Any questions we had, he was more than happy to answer. He was always available and made great suggestions about what to do/not do during our stay in Monterosso. The housekeeper was also wonderful and the room was nice. If you're ever coming to this part of the world - stay here!.
The owner is fantastic, very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy as well as the bathroom. The location is away from all the restaurants and bars which is great if you want to relax. We would definitely stay with Andrew again.
Andre was a fantastic host. He gave great recommendations and made us feel very welcome. The hotel is up the road in the town but you can walk with your luggage from the train station. Air conditioner is good and room was clean.
Andrea is a fabulous host, he makes you feel at home.
Facilities were lovely, wifi great and found the location in the old town far better than the new town area.
We would recommend Albergo Al Carugio to our family and friends.
Lovely hosts and a friendly place to stay. Good value for money. Monterosso definitely the best of the Cinque Terre in my opinion. Certainly the easiest to walk around. Not so many stairs!.
Staff very friendly and helpful, location if coming from road/inland side, would be a hike from the train, price comparatively reasonable, good wifi, and clean.
Our host, Andrea, was very friendly and helpful. The location was good because it was just 2 steps beyond the main restaurant area so, very close but no noise.
Manager (Andre?) goes out of his way to be helpful and to make your
stay pleasant. Convenient location not far from parking station and
main town area.
Absolutely loved our one night stay at this hotel. Andrea is one of the
loveliest hotel owners we met during our trip in Europe. Definitely
recommend.
Very friendly and helpful staff right in monterrresso al mare at the edge so it was easy to get parking nearby and drop off luggage if you have a car.
Luigi was great. He even drove us to a great little, reasonably priced,
restaurant. Helped us navigate our way through Capri with his hand
drawn map.
Andrea was very friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Convenient location where you can easily walk to everything.
Andrea was a great host with many suggestions on where to eat. He was available to answer any questions we might have.
Andreas was arguably the best innkeeper we've ever met. Honest, gentle, kind man who attended to every detail.
Good price for the area. Easy walk into town. Paid covered parking
available next door.
Good location, friendly staff (really frendly!!), clean, comfortable... really nice!!.
The staff, namely Andrea was most helpful and very pleasant.
The owner Andrea was very friendly and helpful.
The owner was extremely helpful. Location.
Didn't like that the Polizia opulent let us drive 1 block to park
for a few minutes to load up our luggage when we checked out. The only
thing that could be added was maybe coffee and a croissant included in
addition to the tea in the morning. But definitely not a deal breaker as
everything else was fabulous!.
Free WiFi doesn't stretch to all rooms, but this is being improved shortly.
There was some noise from one of the guests, but the owner acted on this the following morning and kicked them out. He then gave us a discount. A great outcome. A negative but turned into a positive.
A little far up the main street at the end of the day, but was a very reasonable price because of this. Way more than 800 metres from the train station, but not really a problem as the road is reasonably flat.
Our room was pretty small but was balanced out by having a private outdoor patio area. The back side where our room was also very quiet from external noise. Some hallway noise due to main floor and echo off floors/walls.
Early morning delivery trucks and general street activity are easily
heard if the (double glazed) window is not closed.
Nothin.
Thin walls so were able to hear noise outside and from other rooms.
No view except of street below, but view hotels were more expensive.
No complaints.
Nothing.
