  Ca Brusca in only about 2 km from the town of Barolo, the unofficial center of the Barolo wine area. Lots of small rustic villages in the area are also easily reachable. One tip though is that you absolutely need to have a car to move around the surroundings. In hindsight, it was possible to start the walk directly from Ca Brusca, but at that point, - Ca Brusa is owned and run by Diego Marengo and his wife, a charming, friendly couple who are assisted by their two sons. They are farmers who own extensive vineyards and grow their own vegetables. The six hotel rooms have been converted from the old cow barn. Delicious and abundant home cooking washed down by excellent wine produced on the premises.

  It was our second stay at Beccaris, the view from the breakfast area remains fantastic. Beautiful pool and garden area. Several great places to wine and dine at only a few minutes walk from the villa. The main town (Monforte d' Alba) is very customer-friendly, with great value for money meals. Villa Beccaris is an excellent place to stay, we will definit - The facilities at Villa Beccaris were fantastic. The room was large, great views from the windows,pool and lounge area around it was great and the breakfast room built over the edge of the hill was amazing.Monforte has some excellent little restaurants tucked away in the back streets - just ask the staff for recommendations.

  The hotel was very good and exceeded all our expectations. It was very cosy with a lucturious touch and still not pretentious and with a very discreet charm - same as the beautiful areas around.
