  Everything! It was the best place where we stayed during our 10 days trip. Hosts are really nice, friendly and helpful. You feel there like at home. the place is located just in te center of Mandello. Besides the rooms to sleep owners have their own restaurant and wine place. Morover owners have the bikes, which you can rent for free and eg see the town. I strongly recommend it. I really enjoye - Wonderful hotel with restaurant. Very comfortable, cosy and clean room. The owners are very gentle and friendly. Perfect place for romantic vacation. That smal and quiet town has beautiful embankment and park, memorable architecture, beautiful church with the bell tower. The views on Lake and mountains are gorgeous. It takes only 15-20 min by train to get to Varenna, about 1 hour and 15 min to Milan or to Bergamo (tickets are possible to buy at newspaper's shop in front of railway station). H

  We absolutely loved this B&B. Pietro met us at the train station in Olcio (a lovely surprise!). He and Maria were so lovely and couldn't do enough to look after us. We had the attic room on the top of the house which was spacious and had amazing views of Lake Como. We even had our own kitchen! All in all we cannot speak highly enough of this B & - We had a really nice two days stay in the hotel, including all advantages of family run hotel - friendly and helpful staff, cosy rooms, excellent breakfast, support and advices for what to see, where to eat and how to organize your sightseeing activities. Perfect location - nice view, quite place and easy access to all places to visit by car/boat (optional). Parking in place is really important for this area.

  Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff: We arrived after midnight and forgot to print out direction to the hotel. The owner, who has stayed up to wait for us, drove out to pick us up and show us the way to the hotel. Very good value for the low rate. - After reading all the great reviews, our expectations were really high, but they still managed to exceed. It is a great place to have a relaxing holiday in a peacefull place. Rooms and all the house is beautifully renovated, modern but cosy. Food in the restaurant is amazingly good. We felt very welcome there by the owners. All in all just go there and enjoy!

  The wide and nice bedroom had a fantastic view on the lake. We liked the special atmosphere of the wellness area, built inside the original cave. A great job was done there ! Last but not least, we also appreciated the fact that everything was new and clean.
