  We fully enjoyed our stay at La Boheme; not only because it is in a great central location in Lucca but because the staffs there were so friendly and helpful, even before we arrived. The rooms are not cheap, but nothing in Europe is; however for the price, you are getting a wonderful stay during your time in Lucca. There are some pretty good restaurants around, one of which at least does take away (none of them has a view like the apartment). It's very clean, there are oodles of towels and the hot water is hot. What more do you want? 5 star hotel it isn't, but value for money it is exceptional.
