I had a few problems before leaving my country, but Stefano, who runs the hotel, was so courteous and understanding, that it was a pleasure to do business with him.   The friendly atmosphere of the staff. Everybody helped me all the time. If you desire to be at the beach, it's very close to all the private and public beaches. Convenient also if you want to take the bus and go to Rome. I was lucky that I had friends that came to pick me up with their car. Be patient about traffic if you come from Canada. A window in the room was facing the wall of the building with the reception, but there also was a small balcony, so I was able to see a part of the see from it. WiFi worked fine (had good video connectivity via Skype). Generally, Lido di Ostia is very good option for beach leisure, for traveling to Rome (40mins by suburban train/metro for 1.50euro

  Very attractive facilities and perfectly clean. Staff welcoming and friendly and the seaside views outstanding. The breakfasts should be described as banquets. Lots of facilities including transport to the airport and other places. Very well priced.
