Upon arrival we were greeted and also given a quick but thorough rundown of the city and the best places to eat, attractions and their distances to our location which was a great way to start our planning!   We stayed 5 nights in the spacious and quiet apartment with garden, two streets away from the B&B rooms. It was nice to sit and relax in the garden after walking all day. The location in Trastevere is excellent: the Vatican and all of Rome's museums are in walking distance (1 h max and you always walk through streets with other "must see" foru... was die leute sagen » ms, parks, churches...). Fine bars and restaurants are nearby (we only cooked once in 5 days, usually on holiday, we cook every second day). Franceska - The staff were so friendly and helpful and it was the best location in Rome to stay if you want to be close to restaurants and bars and only a short walk from all the main attractions.   Of course, this is the best apartment I have stayed in during my Europe trip! Perfect location: few minutes walk to the bus station(poor metro in Roma, so bus is the best travel tool) and excellent location in the old city. The location is just perfect: quiet but very close to major attractions like vatican and the very cool neighborhood of Trastevere with loads of nice restaurants, bars and shops.   The location is excellent in terms of being close to all the historical centre of Rome. It is 1/2 block off of the Campo, so you get a little noise on weekends, but the windows of LR and one bedroom overlook the little street below and it is fun to watch and hear local activity of the day. The appartment itself was clean and had all necessary facilities, so we were very pleased! Also a quick tip, if you plan to visit the Vatican and Coloseum it is well worth gettig up early to get there for the opening times as the ques for later on can be very long.
