We were surprised by how quiet the place was given the lively weekend nightlife in Trastevere. We really loved the neighborhood feel of Trastevere. There were numerous bars and restaurants to choose fro - I studied lots of B&Bs and spent weeks reading various reviews. The Relais Casa Della Fornarina exceeded our expectations. Large and quiet room. Very clean. Vouchers for a full American breakfast which we didn't get at any other B&B we stayed at. Walking distance to everything in Trastevere. Just don't judge a book by it's cover and how it looks from the outside. A+++ in my book.

We stayed in the smallest room but every amenity was provided with good taste and thoughtfulness. Mini fridge was stocked with drinks and snacks at no extra cost. Breakfast was served on time and there was so much to choose from. When it was time for us to check out, the staff went out of their way to get us to the airport on time. They go out of their way to help you with your traveling plans around Rome and make you feel welcome. Sergio in particular was wonderful to us. I would stay here again simply for the service. - The hotel staff were all very nice and extremely helpful. They assisted with setting up tours and transportation. They even packed our breakfast to go, since our tour departed before the restaurant opened. We didn't spend much time in the room other than to shower and sleep, but the rooms were comfortable with good air conditioning (August!) and doors that opened to the courtyard. We were able to walk to many of the major sites. It was lovely.
