Extremely welcoming - These are apartments, and not a typical hotel as there is no on-site overnight management. Ronan couldn't have been more helpful and arranged to have a car take us to the airport, which was much less that a taxi would cost.   Location is excellent in - walking distance to most major attractions. Lots of good restaurants close by. Room size was great, very spacious and very clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel arranged an airport pick up and drop off for us which was helpful. Breakfast - in the room or on the common terrace - very good. This is a b&b on the 2nd floor of an old block, and once you get to the 2nd floor it's excellent, the rooms are large, well fitted out, clean and well serviced. However, although the booking photos show the plaza, the entrance to the building is a steel barred gate on a small side street which the taxi found tough to locate. The initial impression from the entrance gate is therefore not as expected.

  It was a good location but difficult to find. We needed better directions since no one we asked and our gps were not helpful in finding the street address. The recommendations for sights and places to eat given to us by Marco were great; we wouldn’t have found many of what became our favourites without them. The location was in a quiet and beautiful part of town just a 15 minute walk from the city centre.

  Catia was there to greet us and looked after us on a very personable level. The hotel was amazing. For us it had the best view in Rome. It was like being inside the Colesseum we were so close. It was so easy to find from the metro and the um huge site right outside the doors. This hotel is above a restaurant with the same name. We got a key to enter through the side whenever we wanted. We were on the third floor (they'd say second in Italy) with stairs, but it was no problem for us. The room was huge and I could have held a party in that bathroom. The shower was amazing. The a/c was one of the strongest in my experience.

We were a bit confused at first when the taxi pulled up outside because it looked nothing like a hotel, just a big wooden door. Our hotel was on the 4th floor consisting of 6 rooms, this floor had just been totally re - I felt completely at home and relaxed here. I booked in very last minute and got a great deal.
