  What did I not like!!! This boutique hotel was amazing. I am definitely much more accustomed to the big fancy American chains (Marriott, Hilton etc.) but this place was perfect. Our room was incredibly large for European standards with a table and chairs and a sofa which was used and an extremely comfortable 3rd bed. The ter - Residenza Torre Colonna was incredible - the facility itself is totally unique, the location is terrific, and the people are all wonderful! We could not have imagined a better experience. After we had checked out and discovered we had a flat tire on our car, we had difficultly communicating (on a Saturday afternoon) with anyone who could help us.   The room was just fabulous. Obviously newly renovated, and done so with great thought and love, the location is excellent right in the heart of Rome. We stayed in silver room, which pleasantly surprised me with its size, decoration, impeccable cleanliness, and the view. Extremely welcoming - These are apartments, and not a typical hotel as there is no on-site overnight management. Aside from that, the rooms were modern and spacious, beds were comfortable, bathroom had modern features and our room overlooked a busy Rome street. Ronan couldn't have been more helpful and arranged to have a car take us to the airport, which was much less that a taxi would cost. It was quiet, within walking distance to all major sites and all staff was great but you would be hard pressed to find anyone more helpful than Rosanna. My wife was very happy with the ear rings. Thanks! Though no tea/coffee making in room, just had to ask and espresso was delivered, gratis. A nice touch.
