  Familia!!! Before we even arrived at the Hotel Trieste I was in contact with the wonderful couple that owned the hotel. My family's time was limited, unfortunately to only 1 night in Catania. We wanted to go to Mount Etna; see some of the city, and enjoy the food. Hotel Trieste helped organize all of my plans. We got back to the hotel i - The hotel is very clean. The rooms are big. Our room hadd a belcony. We were very surprissed t get tthat quality for the money. The locatio is great, close to everything you wantt to see and busses you need to take. most importantly, it is ran by a young family. I bbegan communication with them even before our arrival. They were great to help us with excursions, directions, etc. We felt veery welcomed and at home. If ever in Catania again, that would be no doubt for us a place to stay.

At B&B Opera we had a large and very comfortable room with a small balcony overlooking the street. The breakfasts were generous with fresh fruit served every day. Jane is brilliant and looked after us so well and the - Very good B&B. Staff very friendly, with excellent sense of humor. English speaking. Helped me a lot with info, advices, maps; helped me to book Etna trip. B&B has very nice rear terace where to have breakfast, cigarette or just sit in the evenings. Excellent cappuchinos!!!! :)

  Great location in the city, near to the Cathedral, the shopping street and lots of good places to eat. Not far from the bus to the airport but the taxi is only 20 Euro and is just a 15 minute ride (bus #437 will take you to and from a stop near the Duomo but then about another 10 min. Walk). After 11 pm, totally quiet. Safe and secure - What we like the most was the excellent customer service provided by Giuseppe. He was willing to help and always with a smile. He gave us recommendations of Catania. The room was just excellent, very comfortable. The breakfast so good and the location close to the tourist information office, The Duomo, Via Etna and most of the interesting places in town. Bravo Giuseppe !!!!!

  excellent location, near 2 main squares. at the Duomo square you can find 2 types of touristic buses - the standard citysightseeing and the other one cheaper 5 euro (1hour trip without stop). you also can find all main streets having begin at the square Duomo. the landlord is a very friendly woman, she helped me to book an excursion to Etna (must ... was die leute sagen » see! half day was enough for mee; "without jeep" is not very tiring). the breakfast is served in a cafe neighbour to the appartment (croissant\briosh - This BB has a central location [2 min from Piazza Duomo], really close to public transportation [Piazza Alcala] and via Etnea [wich is one of the main streets in Catania]. The BB is clean and comfy. The owners, Giovanni and his mother [who lives next door] are nice people. The palazzo in which the BB is located it's a bit noisy, but this is Sicilly. Overall, I was pleased with the place and I recomend it.

  Friendly and knowledgeable staff. We loved the room though a little small--the bathroom was elegant and very comfortable. Breakfast was great with many tasty selections. We had an early morning departure flight and were so pleased that our driver, arranged by the staff, was ready at 4:30 AM.   Our stay at B&B al Teatro Massimo was faultless! Our host Serge was extremely helpful, charming and informative. We were given the perfect balance of attention and privacy. The breakfast was perfectly presented, wholesome and varied. Serge was also indespensible to all our requirements. In essence our host completed his ta - A perfect place for staying overnight in Catania city, very close to the bar/restaurant streets and 5-10 minutes walk to the main shopping streets. House and room is very nice and big, in traditional old baroque style with calssic old furnitures and pictures - so feeling is very special - in a positive way. Contact Person is very nice and friendly and helps out for questions about the city and seightseeing! Defenitely can recommend this B&B!!!

  I was looking for the hotel that should be inexpensive yet close to the city center, clean and comfortable. The Valentino hotel was just what we needed. I would also like to say many thanks to the guy that worked in the evenings (unfortunately I do not know his name). He was really helpful. The hotel is close both to the main sights and to the bus stop (we arrived from Catania). The breakfast is very good. The room is clean. Good working facilities.

Great location-in the very centre of Catania, not far from Duomo and very close to via Etnea-street of shopping. Hotel located in very nice historic building. I would recommend this hotel for everyone who wants to visit Catania and feel real hospitality of - The location is great. The rooms are value for money but are basic in terms of comfort. They are cleaned every day, the towels are changed daily as well. The kettle and tea, coffee, sugar are available for common use in the corridor. The chambermaid found and returned to us the clothes left behind in a hurry. Many thanks to her!!!!!! There is some noise from the nearby cafes but we didn't mind it))
